Casey McCullough LAc, MAcOM
she/her/hers
Co-Founder & Acupuncturist
My interest in acupuncture and East Asian medicine began as a teenager after struggles with knee pain and asthma caused me to seek help outside the sphere of conventional care. The rest is history.
I love the resilience of this traditional medicine, it’s ability to stand the test of time, even as the world advances at breakneck speed.
Through the lens of this medicine we can see the interconnected nature of things, not only within our own bodies, minds, and spirits, but also with that of our society and the world we inhabit. Helping one of these areas will have positive ripple effects to all others.
I believe we ALL have the right and ability to feel better, regardless of the complexities of our lives.
I am humbled to affirm and aid you on your journey, wherever that may be.
I am a graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, certified through the NCCAOM, and licensed with the Oregon Medical Board. I have also completed advanced training in orthopedic acupuncture, Japanese-style acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine. After completing my master’s degree, I served as an acupuncturist in an integrative primary care clinic in rural Nepal. I’ve also spent time studying in a holistic oncology hospital in Shanghai, China. Currently I am continuing my studies in cranialsacral therapy and gentle bodywork techniques.
I am always striving to learn new things, not only to sharpen my clinical skills, but to stoke my intellectual fire!
During treatments, I generally like to combine multiple therapies to get you feeling your best. These may include: acupuncture, moxibustion, herbal medicine, East Asian bodywork, cranial sacral therapy, cupping, gua sha, lifestyle suggestions, and TCM dietary therapy.
When I’m not seeing patients, you can find me: running, cruising around Portland on two wheels, recreating in the great outdoors, thrifting, crafting the perfect playlist, and binging some of the finest in reality TV programming.
